Despite the fact that it has been snowing on the weekend I refuse to accept that the winter is here to stay. I’ll force it out of the door with my own hands if I need to. And in the name of the soon-to-come spring, I’ve done some online window shopping for you and have chosen 3 beautiful bags which I think will be super popular this spring & summer season! I’ve put together full outfits to go with them because once you’re in the shopping mode you just have to go all out, there’s no holding back. Which outfit is your favourite?
THREE HANDBAGS THAT WILL BE ALL THE RAGE THIS SPRING
(and that I totally need despite the pile of handbags I already own, obviously)
THE WEEKENDER
Spring is the perfect time to set out on a road trip or a short weekend trip (one night trip in my case because- THE CATS!). I’m planning on doing a handful (or two) of short one or two-day trips outside of Prague. There are so many beautiful places in the Czech Republic which I’ve never visited. And the thing is that everyone who grew up in the Czech Republic has already visited these places because that’s what you do when you have a limited student budget but because I left the country just before I could have spread my wings like that so have missed out on all the day trip fun! I’m totally going to make up for it this year. And this outfit will be absolutely perfect for those trips. I’m in a desperate need of a smaller weekend bag and this reddish tan one from Attavanti is just gorgeous! Attavanti is a Worcester-based online shop where you can find the most stunning fine Italian leather designer handbags. And this leather holdall is a prime example of the handbags they offer. It’s been handcrafted by Italian artisans and therefore is of the highest quality possible. Attavanti has even been chosen by Theo Paphitis as one of his Small Business On Sundays Winners! Oh, and can we just all sit here for a moment and appreciate the design of this bag? Just damn beautiful! You can find a full collection of Italian leather holdalls here.

THE WOVEN ONE
Woven and rattan bags have become SO incredibly popular in the past year. I mean, what even happened?! We went from the occasional Parisian girl carrying a sweet little wicker basket full of tulips to absolutely everyone having a wicker bag over their shoulder (ideally a round one, of course!). I find the market has become ever so slightly oversaturated and instead of going for traditional wicker material I say let’s try woven leather instead. It looks so much more practical and it will last through spring showers too! I think it would look absolutely stunning with a bold yellow blazer and this striped Zoe Karssen T-shirt, don’t you think?

THE SOPHISTICATED ONE
Perhaps a look that’s the closest to my heart is this sophisticated, almost formal one. I love the handbag – it’s hands down my favourite from the whole Attavanti range. I adore the shape and the combination of this warm brown worn leather together with a bamboo handle. I think it looks like Gucci for the Queen if you ask me. And those red shoes from Dorothy Perkins are absolutely perfect for work, even if you just end up sitting in them in the office all day, they are so worth it. Oh, and have I mentioned that I now own about 8 pairs of these River Island Amelia super skinny jeans? Yeah, I’m that kind of person. And I’m not even sorry, they fit so well like you wouldn’t even believe! And you could very easily turn this outfit into a date night attire by adding a lace bodysuit.
