What can you expect out of a hen weekend in Liverpool

Destination hen dos have become really popular because they offer the entire hen gang the opportunity to explore a new place, travel together and celebrate the last night of the bride’s singlehood.

Hen parties in Liverpool are a great option for those looking to not go out of UK for their hen parties. Here’s a list of all that you can expect to do in Liverpool for your hen night celebration.

  1. Tourist Attractions

Since Liverpool is one of the most visited cities in the United Kingdom, you can expect a lot of tourist attractions to be on your list of things to do in Liverpool. You can start with the Albert Dock which is one of the most impressive attractions of Liverpool. It is a World Heritage Site Waterfront and is also home to the largest number of Grade I buildings of the country. You can see a lot of Liverpool’s top attractions here itself.

Once you’ve ticked off the Albert Dock, you definitely need to put the Beatles exhibition next on your list. A story of the four musicians who made history with their amazing music, is an award winning attraction and a must see.

The Liverpool cathedral is another stunning attraction that deserves to be admired. Completed and opened in 1978, the Liverpool Cathedral is the largest cathedral in UK and the fifth largest in the world, which definitely makes it worth visiting. There are a number of records that the cathedral is known for. For example, it is known to have the largest organ in all of UK, the widest and tallest gothic–style arches in the world. The view of the city from its tower is absolutely breathtaking and a great spot for you to get some hen gang photographs.

  1. Nightlife

Coming to the main event of any hen night, the nightlife. Liverpool’s nightlife is not going to disappoint girls looking to have a good time with some good music. There are a range of nightlife choices for you to choose from, in Liverpool. From pubs that have dogs to superclubs, comedy clubs, dance clubs, concept bars etc. there is a lot that Liverpool has to offer your hen gang.

Some of the top places where you head to, with your hen gang for a thriving nightlife are The Seel Street which has become the go to place for parties because it is packed with everything and anything that you’re looking for. Some of the popular places to go to here are Aloha, The Monro, Salt Dog Slims, Santa Chupitos and of course if you’re looking for some good old dancing then The Peacock and Heebie Jeebies are the places to be.

If you’re looking for some traditional pubs in the city, then Hardman Street is where you should go. A favourite of John Lennon when he was in art school, Ye Cracke, along with The Pilgrim are both located here and under the shadow of the Liverpool Cathedral. If ale is what you girls like, then a visit to The Roscoe Head is a must because this is the only real ale specialist pub which has appeared in every edition of the Good Beer Guide.
